Cilento offers tourists various but also important reasons of interest: the remains of Greek civilization, in Velia and especially in Paestum, which due to its proximity can be considered included in the park area; classical memories, such as those of Capo Palinuro, sung by Virgil; the castles, especially inland, and the coastal towers that recall medieval life and barbarian raids; last but not for those who decide to go to the knowledge of this sub region that goes to the borders with Basilicata with a 2-wheeled vehicle, the fantastic, vast panoramas offered by the roads, decidedly improved in recent years, which wind along the coast or on the mountain ridges.
